Ice Station Zebra 
“Ice Station Zebra” is a 1968 American espionage thriller based on Alistair MacLean’s novel. While not a blockbuster, it offers taut Cold War tension. The film revolves around a nuclear submarine dispatched to the Arctic Circle to recover film from a Russian spy satellite. Rock Hudson plays the sub commander, but it’s Patrick McGoohan who provides character interest. The special effects, unfortunately, fall short, and the plot lacks coherence. Despite its flaws, the interplay between the cast keeps you guessing about who’s the good guy and who’s the bad 1. If you’re into Cold War thrillers, it’s worth a watch!
